Clos-Marfisi-“Gritole”-Patrimonio-Rouge
100% Niellucciu from vines planted in 1990 facing west; all limestone soils in a parcel closer to the austere coastline. Very gentle pressing into stainless for fermentation, with 18 months of élevage in cement. An almost translucent purple in the glass, this is an approachable wine, meant to be consumed in its youth, served slightly chilled.

Dom-Abbatucci-Faustine-Blanc-2014
A real spearhead of the estate, it is derived from a selection of 40-year-old vines with a small yield. The grapes are picked mature, mornings only, in small crates and pressed immediately. Aged in stainless steel vats. Remarkable for its pale yellow color robe with golden hues, this wine has a very bold and progressive evolution of aromatic perception. Indeed, it stands out for its dominant anise and white flowers ending with a lingering minerality. Fresh and aromatic, it is enjoyed as an aperitif, with fish, shellfish or with cheese.

This is 100% Vermentino coming from south and southeast-facing parcels with schist and sandy soils. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, then aged 6 months on its lees in cement vats with regular batonnage and bottled after a light filtration. This is a delicious representation of the Vermentino grape, with its stone fruits and minerality.

Domaine-Poli-Nielluccio-Rosé
In 2005, Eric Poli bought 7.4 acres of old-vine Nielluccio and Vermentino in the heart of Patrimonio, the oldest and arguably best appellation on this mountainous Mediterranean island. He also bought 108 acres outside of Linguizzetta, his hometown on the east coast of the island. Today, Eric Poli manages Clos Alivu's 11.7 acres, the 86.5 acres of his wife's family estate (Clos Teddi), and the 108 acres of IGP Ile de Beaute grapes he planted ten years ago near his family's estate. Eric makes the wines for all three brands. The maritime influences of this Mediterranean paradise allow Eric to farm his vines organically (though without certification). Nielluccio, genetically linked to Sangiovese, thrives on this island, and when yields are limited, results in wines with more freshness and finesse than those made from its Tuscan cousin. Corsica's secondary red cepage, Sciaccarello, is the descendant of another Tuscan variety, Mammolo, which was likely introduced while the island was under control of the Republic of Pisa (1077-1284). Primarily a blending grape for red wines, it can result in high-toned, floral and fruity roses on its own.
