Fuentespina 3 is a red wine from Ribera del Duero, a fresh, vigorous and fruity wine. Ideal to enjoy on any occasion, whether sharing a bottle with friends, or savoring it quietly at home. Its three months in the barrel give it a light touch of wood that makes it softer on the palate and more complex in aroma.

Viña Almate is the name of the first vineyard that Alfredo planted and gives the name to his bodega and to Alfredo’s entry-level Duero wine. This cuvee is made from fruit sourced from various plots of Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), of varying vine ages located, in Valtiendas at 1,000 meters elevation, as well as Peñafiel, at 700 meters. The wine is 80% whole cluster fermented in steel vat with 15-20 days of maceration, and raised for 4 months in neutral French oak with one racking: unfined, unfiltered, and very low SO2. The result is a very pure and classic medium to full bodied Duero wine with notes of red fruits, spice, flowers, and minerals; a great wine to pair with grilled and roasted meats.

A very dark wine, intense red with violet reflections. Complex and spicy on the nose, rich in ripe fruits intermingled with notes of licorice and toasted nuts. Amiable and glyceric on the palate, it is well-structured with lively acidity that affords a long finish.

20% Verdejo, 80% Sauvignon Blanc Our first white is a “terroir” wine perfect for laying down, and is the result of 20 years of research. Made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes planted 20 years ago, it is enriched with a hint of Verdejo and other white wine varieties. Despite the area being traditionally devoted to reds, these varieties have adapted wonderfully to our climate and “terroir” and have soaked up the ancestral spirit of the land. The sun drenched, sandy and pebbly plot it hails from, ensures the almost perfect ripening of each crop, resulting in an original and surprising wine, bright and straw-coloured with golden hues. Its’ nose is complex, intense and fruity; reminiscent of other grape varieties, with hints of pineapple and grapefruit, toast, butter and bakery. After 5 to 6 months of ageing in French Oak barrels, a fresh, citric, smoky, and slightly spiced flavour is achieved. It is a wine with body, just the right notes of wood, unctuous, with a long, fresh and delicate finish. It is a faithful reflection of our personality and has huge potential for laying down.

Cruz de Alba in Ribera del Duero is a modern style Tempranillo, with a fruitier character and careful use of the oak makes this wine balanced & structured.

Lovely color of morello cherries. The nose is expressive with aromas of red fruits, cocoa and light notes of spice. On the palate it is round, structured and tannic.
