La-Capranera-Fiano
Fiano is thought to be a grape indigenous to Campania. Known for its low yield and intense aromatics, Fiano is also thought to be the grape used for Rome's famous Apianum wine. After gentle pressing, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a low, controlled temperature. The wine then spends 8 months in tanks before bottling. An elegant bouquet with very clean flavors on the palate that are reminiscent of white flowers and pear. Elegant with lots of mineral notes.

Feudi-di-San-Gregorio-Aglianico-Rubrato
Feudi di San Gregorio, a modern expression of a centuries-old tradition of passion and dedication to the land, is Campania’s premier winemaking estate. Situated in the tiny village of Sorbo Serpico in Campania's Irpinia region, this highly-acclaimed winery was established in 1986. Since then, it has aggressively tapped into the enormous potential of Campania's unique terroir and ancient varieties by placing a contemporary spin on indigenous grapes such as Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo and Aglianico. Throughout its short yet prolific history, the estate’s proprietors have cultivated Campania’s finest vineyards and worked closely with some of Italy’s best enologists. The results have been remarkable — the wines of Feudi di San Gregorio meet time and again with stellar reviews and consistently garner international critical acclaim. Rubrato is the local word for brilliant ruby in color. Production Area The communes of Taurasi, Pietradefusi, Castelvetere and Paternopoli in Campania. 10-20 year old vines are grown at between 1,000 – 1,600 ft above sea level. Grape Varieties 100% Aglianico Vinification Grapes are hand-harvested during the last two weeks of October. After de-stemming and pressing, maceration and fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats for 10 days at a temperature of 79ºF. Malolactic fermentation takes place in wood. Color Brilliant ruby red. Bouquet Intense, rich aroma of red berries from wild strawberries to notes of cherry and spice Taste An overall sensation of freshness. Taurasi-DOCG/DOP
The origins of Taurasi wine date back to the pre-Roman era. The Aglianico grape variety, from which Taurasi wine is produced from was called “Hellenic”, or originating in Greece. Taurasi wine was named after “Taurasia”, a little village that was taken over by Romans after they defeated Hirpinis in the 80 a.C. The Romans then mooved here thousands of settlers from Liguria to work in the vineyards.

The wine is pale yellow with light green reflections. To the nose it presents an aromatic pallet beginning with a distinctive note of pear which evolves into banana and exotic fruits. Then a final bouquet of white flowers mainly jasmine and lily emerges. In the mouth an initial taste of almond gives way to the floral nature of this wine. The aroma of white flowers settles around the palate leaving a feeling of freshness and a taste of lime with notes of wild flowers.
