Petite Sirah is a dark rich wine, the nose is richly aromatic with notes of lavender, black olives and notes of old world complexity. The wine is creamy and velvety on the palate, with soft tannins and a long finish.

Petite Sirah is synonymous with Stags' Leap, and these ancient vines show tremendous concentration and depth, revealing layers of dark berry, raspberry yogurt, and savory notes of dried herbs and black pepper spice. Rich, powerful, balanced, structured — a truly special bottle.

It is deep inky-black colour displaying rich aromas and flavours of berries and liquorice with dense tannins and classy French and American oak. It shows the typically intense colour and body for which Rutherglen Durif is rightfully famous.

The senses are tempted by an array of black raspberry, spice, coffee, cocoa, cola and white pepper. The palate is filled with ripe boysenberry, black raspberry, plum and sweet black cherry and firm tannins, with a hint of smoke and dark chocolate.
