The inky deepness of the ruby colour concedes just a purplish rim, opening into a very intense nose with brisk mineral notes of pencil lead and dark fruit with blackberry to the fore, and slightly balsamic nuances in the background. A lengthy finale echoes the ripe fruit of the bouquet.
