This unique Auchentoshan Lowland Single Malt Whisky has been matured in three different cask types. Moving from American Bourbon to Spanish Oloroso Sherry - and finally Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks - Three Wood is a rich, complex whisky with incredible toffee and sherry oak flavours.

Named for the address of Compass Box’s Edinburgh offices, Great King Street is a new range of highly approachable whiskies which are aimed at not just whisky connoisseurs, but also non-whisky and cocktail drinkers as well. An Auchentoshan single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2013. It was matured in bourbon hogshead for these 14 years, before being bottled by WM Cadenhead with an outturn of 672 bottles.

Replacing the 10 year-old as the main expression of the Lowland style in the Classic Malts range, this Glenkinchie 12yo is a bit fuller and more complex.

Matured in bourbon oak casks.

For years, evangelists asked us to create a non chill-filtered, cask strength edition of our acclaimed Auchentoshan Classic. Valinch was born. The Valinch being the name of the pipette used to draw whisky straight from the cask. Bladnoch distillery is located in the South West of Scotland, next to the picturesque town of Wigtown (Scotland’s Book Town). There are very few Lowland distilleries still in production and, in fact, Bladnoch has been “mothballed” (out of production) since 2007. Once a Diageo distillery, it was put up for sale by its private owners, and is rumored to have been bought by an Indian property company. Whisky aficionados world-wide, and local residents, hope that it will once again return to its glory days, but in the meantime we have a very rare single cask from the 1990’s.
