Overseen by Gilles Merlet, one of the world’s pre-eminent Master Distillers, Leblon® Cachaça's outstanding quality and superb taste is a result of meticulous attention to detail throughout the production process, from the cutting of the fresh sugar cane, fermentation, and distillation, to the filtering, blending, and resting for up to six months.

Cachaca 51 is Brazil’s leading brand of Cachaca with over 240 million liters sold annually, and is the second largest selling spirit in the world. Cachaca is a cane neutral spirit from Brazil that is distilled directly from fermented sugar cane juice. Cachaca 51 is made from the finest varieties of cane crop harvested at the peak of sugar content from the heartland of the plantation area of Brazil.

Symbolized by the red Pitú on the label (some people call it the lobster), Pitú is the most recognized brand of cachaça in the world. Made from fresh cut sugar cane, it is known for superb quality, and how well it blends with fresh fruit and juice. Pitú is the spirit of the Caipirinha, the national cocktail of Brazil.

An extraordinary gin handcrafted in the hills of Jundiaí, Brazil, McQueen and the Violet Fog is like no gin on Earth. Distilled with 21 botanicals gathered from all over the world – including six “signature” botanicals rarely (if ever) found in gin – it’s a complex, subtle, incredibly smooth spirit. We use two distillation techniques, maceration and vapor infusion, to create McQueen, making small batches of just 500 liters (55 cases) each time. 6000 miles from the traditional gin world, McQueen and the Violet Fog is a spirit for the bold.

his is not the usual type cachaca that you find imported to the United States - by usual, I mean the cheap aquadiente ("firewater") - type alcohol that is drunk by the poor and used by the better off to fuel their cars. There are 1000's of brands of Cachaca in Brazil most of which are thankfully NOT imported here. Prior to a few years ago drinking Cachaca was about as stylish as drinking Mad Dog or Night Train here.

Avua is a small batch, single sourced cachaca expertly handcrafted by one of Brazil's few female distillers. She grows the sugarcane at her family's hillside farm, located about four hours north of Rio de Janeiro. Avua Prata Cachaca is a crisp, vibrant spirit which has been distilled in copper pot stills and rested in stainless steel casks for six months before being hand bottled. Distinctive notes of fresh sugarcane are complemented by delicate hints of wildflower, lemongrass and dried herbs, which add character to the classic Caipirinha as well as other excellent cocktails.

Distilled from first press sugar cane juice, this clear medium bodied “cachaça” is aged at least 1 year in barrels of Brazilian Walnut wood, acquiring a special taste bearing peppery notes and a delicious bouquet. Cachaça Ypióca is a spirit distilled from the pure juice of sugar cane produced by the Telles Family since 1846. Presently in the 5th generation, Ypióca is the oldest cachaça producer of Brazil. Ypioca’s range of products includes aged cachaças, ready-made cocktails, and wine specialty. Cachaça is the most popular distilled beverage in Brazil, consumed pure or mixed with fruits. Filled with the desire to bottle this life for all the world to try, Vantguard ventured out to create its own version of CACHAÇA, with Brazilian soul and premium body. Adapting the traditional spirit with differentiated nuances and aromas and mixing it as has never been mixed before. Thus CAPUCANA was created. A unique blend of sugar canes distilled and finally rounded off in American oak barrels previously used for bourbon, which are then left to further mature in the magical region of Islay, aged with peat-distilled malt whisky.

Clear rum distilled from fermented fresh sugar cane juice. This sugar cane spirit is a blend of highly distilled sugar cane juice spirit from Brazil and aged rum from South America which gives the almost clear spirit a vanilla flavor in the initial taste and finish. Light on the palate with a slightly sweet vanilla finish, Oronoco was designed to be a super premium white rum for premium cocktails. Despite being made from sugar cane juice in Brazil, there are two important differences between Oronoco and cachaça. First, Oronoco is distilled to more than the limit of 54% abv for cachaça. Second, it is a blend of rum made from molasses so under Brazilian law it must be classified as rum. It is bottled at 40% abv and labeled as rum in the US market. Bottled at 40% alcohol by volume.

The purest representation of sugarcane from southern Brazil, Novo Fogo Silver Cachaça proves that terroir matters. A banana aroma is present from the first whiff, followed by floral and tropical notes that shine through the spirit. Sea salt balances the cachaça’s fresh, funky flavor, adding a savory quality and settling the overall flavor to a mouthwatering sweet red pepper.

"This white rum is exceptionally smooth and creamy, offering an immediate vanilla nose. On the palate is offers a big mouthful of vanilla/creme brulee, plus some cinammon notes, with a lightly woodsy finish."

This cachaça ages the fresh flavors from the original unaged spirit in repurposed American oak barrels. The 2-3 year process bakes the freshness of our cachaça in the heat and humidity of the rainforest. The result? Banana bread, with notes of chocolate, cinnamon bark, and coffee. A trace of pepper from the clear spirit remains, but the time spent in the barrel changes it to a toasty black pepper variation.
