Pours bright and clear, a golden yellow with a good-sized white head this dissipates to a thick film. Some fine bubbles cling to the glass just short of the head and hold like a still life version of the waterfall before evaporating like a fog.
Smell is rich and malty with strong notes of citrus, grape and green apple blended together. Hops is present weakly, a supporting player. Nicely balanced and well presented.
Taste is malty and sour with a grape note prominent. Not as balanced as the nose, however.
Light to medium body with a medium effervescence. Finishes cleaner than expected and with a hint of dryness and vinegar acidity. Overall a fine beer.
