As a result of the five months it spent aging in rye whiskey barrels, our barrel-aged Blue Giant Imperial IPA boasts a much sweeter and more mellowed hop profile than it’s original iteration. However, the blending of a few additional hops post-aging has lent a brightness to this beer. The result is a delicious balance of sweet malt flavors, barrel-aged oakiness, hints of dark stone fruit, and light hop brightness to round out this full-bodied brew.
