Pours deep orange in color with aromas of buttered pie crust, roasted pumpkin, and a melange of pumpkin pie spices. Medium bodied with flavors of caramel and roasted pumpkin notes and an underpinning of floral hop bitterness that leads into a harmonious blend of pumpkin pie spice. Every fall marks the return of our legendary Halloween Ale – the beer so good, it’s scary! This masterful brew is not only a great rendition of the Extra Special Bitter style (ESB) but a great alternative to the annual onslaught of pumpkin beers. No pumpkins are harmed in the brewing of this beer! This robust brew has a deep amber color, a bold, malty palate and a well-rounded hop finish.
Halloween Ale is smooth and creamy with a medium-to-full body. It has a big malty flavor with toasted caramel balanced by ripe pear and faint apple undertones. The hops give it ample bitterness, but the beer finishes a bit sweet. Halloween Ale, the perfect beer for a crisp autumn day!

Cerveza de Verano, the beer of summer, is a refreshing, Mexican-style lager brewed with agave for a subtly sweet and earthy flavor that’s sure to leave you wanting more.

Made with baby ginger from Casselmonte Farm and wildflower honey from Bearer Farms, Hardywood Gingerbread Stout captures the terroir of Central Virginia in a rich, creamy libation with a velvety mouthfeel and an intriguing evolution of notes from milk chocolate and vanilla, to honeycomb and cinnamon, to a snap of ginger in the finish. A malt forward ale with a strong biscuity sweet flavor balanced with a smooth noble hop bitterness. In honor of the Firefighters who serve in our region and everywhere one dollar of each pint sold in our tap room will be contributed to the Firefighters Community Compassion Fund. Winterhook is the perfect beer to keep warm during cold months after shoveling snow, shredding some powder, or playing hooky to can catch the game. Since it was first brewed, Redhook’s Winterhook has changed slightly each year to celebrate the season and keep everyone on their toes. After all, no one likes getting the same gift twice. The 30th version of Winterhook brewed for this year offers a rich caramel body that balances a big malt backbone with the aggressively dry hopped brew, making this year’s winter ale slightly naughty and very nice.
