Jester-King-Gotlandsdricka
Gotlandsdricka, meaning “Drink of the Good Land”, is believed to have been the beer of the Vikings. Our rendition of this ancient style is inspired by the traditional farmhouse ales once brewed on the island of Gotland, off the coast of Sweden. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, and naturally-conditioned.

Uinta-Tinder-Rauchbier-Smoked-Lager
Inspired by Owner Will Hamill and Headbrewer Kevin Ely’s recent trip to Germany to inspect new brewhouse equipment, Tinder is a German-style Rauchbier (Smoked Beer) that kindles moderate malty sweetness and robust smokiness. Brewed with Bamberg beechwood-smoked malt, this medium-bodied lager ignites distinct campfire smoke flavors and aroma. Aromatic, bright and balanced, Tinder is bottle conditioned and has an ABV of 6.5%. Scheduled to hit select shelves in late January, Tinder is a limited release beer, only 180bbls were brewed.

We’ve taken our best porter recipe and added a good measure of the famous Bamberg Rauchmalz (beechwood smoked malt). The smoke mingles beautifully with the rich, dark roasted chocolate flavours of the porter without being overpowering.

Bottle & keg; Seasonal - Spring (but available year round in bottle). Previously 4.0%. Editor’s note: It is not known when the increase in abv took place so it is not practicable to consider splitting the listing for this beer. Lager + Smoking + Rosemary + Sage + Cherry Wood. Smoke infused larger... yes please! A smoked lager from our home built smoker using retired 500L sherry butts to infuse malt with cherry wood smoke, rosemary and sage. Delicate, sweet smokiness with a hint of the herbaceous - as refined and crisp as you could wish for.

Smoked Märzen Caution! This is an intensely smokey lager similar to those found in Bamberg, Germany. Most of this brew’s malt was dried over flaming beechwood, which ingrains unique smokey flavors. A large proportion of Munich malts were used to create a Fest style beer with amber hue. We used specially smoked barley from Valley Malt. Prost!

Aecht-Schlenkerla-Fastenbier
The Original Schlenkerla Lentbeer is an unfiltered smokebeer, brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. Bottom-fermenting yeast gives the reddish brown lentbeer a natural cloudiness. Its smokey aroma is already noticeable in the smell, combined with a fine hoppy note. In the drink the fullbodied, highly drinkable lentbeer shows its strong malty flavour, rounded up with the smokey taste and a light bitterness. Due to the nourishing yeast, the Original Schlenkerla Lentbeer has the "Brotzeit already included" (German word for afternoon snack).
De Molen Pek & Veren

De-Molen-Pek-&-Veren
In the old west it was custom to treat crooks, quacks and charlatans with tar and feathers. Then they were driven out of town backwards on their horse or donkey. At least, if you can believe the Lucky Luke comics. Did you know that Louis Pasteur in the beginning of his career was regularly accused of quackery? And now he is regarded as one of the main founders of microbiology. Brewers to this day still much profit from his findings. But we do not like pasteurizing like many large breweries do because that kills the beer. Our Pek & Veren is a beer that is similar to a solid doppelbock with smoke flavour.

Lamplighter-Brewing-Smokey-The-Beer
Smokey the Beer is a Rauchbier brewed in collaboration with our friends from Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen (Boston, MA). On the nose, a familiar campfire scent is enriched by light aromas of grilled pear and grape must, emphasizing sweet wood character without any trace of char. Pale amber in color and especially smooth, this lager’s lightly smoky flavor is derived from Beechwood and Cherrywood smoked malts.

IndieFerm-Gratzer
Gratzer is kind of a weird beer. Gratzer is made using oak smoked wheat malt which gives it a mild smokey aroma. People ask us if there is bacon in the beer. There most emphatically is not! If you can imagine a Gose with smoke instead of salt, you are in the right ball park. ABV is 6% and the bitterness is mild. Color is a light gold.

Ebony-hued, Smoke wafts out of the bottle and into your senses, borne on the wings of European traditions, wrapped in American innovation. Lager-brewed, like any true Baltic Porter, with smoked malts from Bamberg, Germany, the home of Rauchbiers, then mellowed by oak-aging. Black malt flavors mesh with notes of raisins, plums, figs and licorice with the subtle smoke on the side, for a complex and luxurious, yet silky smooth drinking experience. It's a sipper at Alc. 8.2% by VOL., but everyone knows you can't have Smoke without fire!

Schlenkerla Smokebeer Wheat is an ale with light smoky aroma. As Bavarian wheat beers, it is being brewed with a mixture of both barley malt and wheat malt. The portion of barley malt is hereby a classic Schlenkerla smokemalt, while the wheat malt remains unsmoked. Served unfiltered with its natural haziness, Schlenkerla Wheat reaches its full aroma through bottle fermentation with fine top fermenting yeast.

In 1987, when we arrived in Bamberg, Germany for the first time, St. Otto was not there to greet two thirsty travelers in a rented Fiat. He’d been dead for 848 years but we were alive, and our recent visit to the Belgian brewery of Orval only fanned the flames of our desire for fermented pleasures. the smoked malt(’rauch’)beers of this lovely town where St. Otto was once bishop were our siren song, luring us into deep, exotic flavors that we never before imagined in beer. Three decades later we wondered what smoked malt might add to a Belgian-style dubbel ale. Here it is, an Otto revival of sorts. We hope it helps rejuvenate some of our brain cells that were martyred in Bamberg so long ago

Smoked pilsner. I need to know what kind of beer cowboys drink, as I have recently become one. I want to be the best cowboy I can be, and I think drinking the correct beer is important. I already have a cowboy hat and a nice big shiny buckle.
