In 300 years of triumph, adversity and above all, brewing, you learn a thing or two about ale. Smithwick's Red Ale is a blend of mild hops, sweet malt and roasted barley. Like the castle at the heart of Smithwick's Kilkenny home, it’s stood the test of time throughout Irish history, and earned its rightful place as Ireland’s most loved ale.Smithwick’s Red Ale is the ruby red session ale with a gentle hop bitterness, sweet malty notes and a refreshingly balanced taste.

We brew it with a half ton of caramelized malts for a rich copper color and toffee flavor. After adding the perfect mix of hops for balance, we warm ferment the beer to bring out a hint of dried raisins and currants. The complexity of flavors makes Red Trolley Ale a hearty and truly enjoyable beer.

Red Cap is a beer that gets along with just about everyone. Easy to drink yet full of flavor, it showcases Munich Malt, Crystal Malt and Roasted Barley living in harmony with Willamette and Golding hops. Medium in body and creamy on the pallet, it lingers pleasantly and has a malty sweet finish.

Double Magician is a dark red Double London-Style Ale. Deep mahogany in color with an off white head,Double Magician has aromas of toffee, light citrus, and just a hint of roast. Double Magician is medium-bodied with flavors of raisin, toffee, and a slight hop bitterness. The finish is balanced and dry.

At McSorley's ale is well. McSorley's Irish Pale Ale is from the old house at home. Established in 1854 in NYC and brewed by McSorley's Brewery in Wilks-Barre, PA. Brewed in the tradition of the historic walls of McSorley's Old Ale House. It took 116 years, the pressure of public opinion and ultimately the authority of a court order for McSorley's to surrender. By the mid 1970s, McSorley's allowed woman inside the bar at 15 E. 7th St for the very first time. Ah, but the owners did not completely forgo tradition, women would wait until 1986 to get their own restroom.
