Nogne O Premiant India Style Pilsner

Nogne-O-Premiant-India-Style-Pilsner
We love hops, and maybe especially new humps and experience with these. Were we excited and excited when we got a party with the new bum Premiant? We immediately settle for a pilsner beer, but maybe not entirely in traditional Czech fashion.

I’ll be home for Christmas, but let Mom know I’ll definitely need a beer that’s higher in ABV. We didn’t just brew an imperial pilsner, we brewed an 8.4% holiday coping mechanism. Light malt notes with slightly-floral hop character, this beer tastes like good tidings of comfort and joy. Which is good because Uncle Frank is here, ready to give his annual update on body parts that hurt. Family Drama pairs perfectly with roasted meats, holiday-spiced desserts, and staring off into space while pretending you’re invisible.

Like you, we love hops too. Released each August, Panzer Pils is a stronger, more robust version of a traditional German Style Pilsner brewed with Tettnang and Saaz hops.

Russian-River-Intinction-Sauvignon-Blanc-Barrel-Aged-Pilsner
Although we have made this beer once before, it was only available on our guided tour and for special events. The base beer is a Pilsner aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels with the addition of Sauvignon Blanc grape juice from the 2018 harvest for a secondary fermentation. The juice and barrels are from Dutton Vineyards in the Russian River wine appellation here in Sonoma County. There is no lactobacillus or pediococcus added to the beer, only brettanomyces. The tart acidity comes from the wine grapes. This beer is delicate and beautifully balanced, a perfect refresher on a warm summer day!

Jack’s-Abbey-Kiwi-Rising-1/6-Keg
Kiwi Rising is a double IPL dry-hopped with over four pounds of New Zealand hops per barrel. Expect intense notes of white grape, ripe melon, and bright citrus by way of Nelson Sauvin, Waimea, and Motueka hops. While this beer might taste like a fresh and juicy kiwifruit, it doesn't actually contain any.

Dogfish-Head-My-Antonia
My Antonia (named after the Willa Cather read), is a continually-hopped imperial pilsner. This lager for ale lovers is citrusy, sweet and refined. My Antonia started out as a collaboration beer when Sam brewed it at Birra del Borgo (hope you can read Italian) outside Rome, Italy, with owner/brewer Leonardo DiVencenzo in October 2008. In 2010, we began brewing My Antonia here in Delaware for U.S. distribution.

Nipponia is brewed using the revived Japanese breed of Kanego Golden barley which was first developed in 1900, along with another strain of hops called 'Japanese-bred Sorachi Ace'. Nipponia is a delightfully golden coloured beer with citrus edge and complex and lingering taste.
Shorts The Curl

Shorts-The-Curl
One of the first Imperial beers made at Short’s, this American Pilsner has an appealing clear, bright, golden straw color. Faint esters of fresh baked bread and grain aromas precede the flavor resulting from the abundance of flake maize used in this recipe. Hefty doses of hops create a pronounced dryness that seamlessly blends with the crisp, clean finish.
Birra Del Borgo My Antonia Imperial Pilsner

Birra-Del-Borgo-My-Antonia-Imperial-Pilsner
One of the few adventures in the realm of bottom fermented beers for Birra del Borgo. A mix of American and European hops in dry-hopping (Simcoe, Warrior and Saaz). Stronger in alcohol, hence the Imperial appellation, will surprise you with its intensity, being both explosive and balanced at the same time. A blonde beer with a strong backbone, just like the main character of the novel by Willa Cather from which the beer takes its name.
