ZaZa is made by the Santo Cristo winery, the third largest winery in the Campo de Borja region of Spain. The winemaker is Norrel Robertson, a Master of Wine, known as the wine world’s flying Scotsman, and a bit of a maverick as well. The wine is 100% Garnacha, grown on the slopes of Moncayo, the highest mountain in Aragon, and the average age of the vines is forty years. This is a fruit-driven rose with great complexity, fermented in oak and matured on the lees; it is full-bodied, crisp, and well balanced with a creamy mouthfeel and a long finish
