Vandori Prosecco NV

Obvious frizzante’ (slightly sparkling) as it’s being poured; clear very pale straw; nose of grapefruit and pear with undertones of an almost piney Christmas tree quality (Note: I was tasting this near our Christmas tree, but it’s not a real tree); tingly on the tongue from the spritz, then soft and smooth in texture; flavors of pear, grapefruit and lemon/lime; tart, but not overly so; almost has flavors similar to many Sauvignon Blancs. Tastes bone dry and without any oak to me. Nicely balanced and very pleasant with a soft finish; great food wine.
