The Wishing Tree Shiraz

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2011 The Wishing Tree Shiraz is another blend of Langhorne Creek, Currency Creek and McLaren Vale Shiraz grapes with a few other varieties blended in minor proportion for depth. It shows warm blackberry and wild blueberry aromas over suggestions of tree bark, cloves and spice box. On the palate it is medium-bodied with a good amount of pure berry flavors laced with pepper, balanced acid, a low to medium level of soft tannins and a medium to long finish.
