Rutherford Hill Napa Valley Chardonnay Tasting Notes We have much respect for and experience with Napa Valley Chardonnay. In fact, Chardonnay has been produced at Rutherford Hill since the winery’s founding. Our lengthy heritage of producing fine Napa Valley Chardonnay is reinforced by this vintage. Our Chardonnay is crafted from grapes grown in the cooler climate of southern Napa Valley that create a wine with striking balance and structure. The 100% Chardonnay fruit is carefully hand-picked into half-ton bins and whole cluster pressed to provide the highest quality wine possible. Delicate aromas of orange blossoms, pear and honey give way to the full bodied, wonderfully layered flavors of fruit and balanced acidity. Appellation: Napa Valley Color: Light straw Aroma: Blend of delicate floral aromas. Hints of lilac with some notes of green apple Flavor: Full bodied with great acidity in the middle. Crisp with a long finish and a whisper of wood.
