James Viner in The Kent and Sussex Courier, 25/1/14: "This is a very rewarding, lightly sparkling wine from the Veneto in northeast Italy that, like most fizz with a decent fizz core and a good dollop of acidity, is a good bet with fish and chips or crab linguine. It’s drier and less sherbet than many supermarket Proseccos and made from 100% Glera grapes using the ‘Charmat’ method. This is the sparkler traditionally mixed with peach puree to make the celebrated Bellini cocktail, conceived at Harry’s Bar in nearby Venice. A fine, pear-tinged aperitif that is cleverly listed (and priced) at an overhauled Oddbins."
