What a vintage for Hyde! This wine is super-fresh and dynamic, with brilliant layers of pure Bing cherry, cranberry, raspberry and orange zest. While there is a vivid brightness and clarity to the high-toned fruit, there are also deeper notes of mocha and forest floor that add nuance and intrigue. While the tannins are abundant, they are smooth and supple and seem to fuse completely with the fruit, flowing to a finish that goes on and on.
