Mayacamas Cabernet Sauvignon

A small amount of Merlot is produced annually at Mayacamas and it is always noted for its poised and balanced profile - sleek texture, a supple mid-palate, and focused fruit flavors – all framed by firm but polished mountain tannins. Fruit flavors of ripe blackberry and fresh blueberry tart are balanced by savory notes of black tea, cedar, and bay while bright acidity supports a long, mouthwatering finish. Though drinkable now, a solid structure suggests this wine will age gracefully for decades.
