Tasted out of barrel, the rich, full-bodied 2014 Dead Horse Ciel du Cheval Vineyard sports an inky purple color as well as flat out great notes of ripe black fruits, licorice, graphite and tobacco leaf. Based largely on Cabernet, it will have two decades of longevity.
