The newest varietal to the Margarett’s Vineyard family of
wines is this Petite Sirah. Aromas of dark berries, spice, violets and mocha
are followed through on the palate with the addition of spicy plum. Vanilla
& toasty oak from the winemaker’s proprietary blend of French &
American oak are present but not intrusive. The wine has moderate tannins
and is full-bodied with a luscious finish that will pair nicely with your favorite
roasted or grilled meat and hearty vegetable dish.
