Our Early Wine is an homage to the “Jungwein” of Austria, a style that originated in the Burgenland and was brought here by our friend and consultant Winemaker, Helmut Gangl.
Grapes for our Early Wine are harvested two weeks earlier than the rest of our white wines, providing the green apple aromas and flavors it is known for. An expressive nose displays candied peach, citrus, pear. The palate is as fruit-forward as the nose with more green apple, lemon and a touch of sweetness that is balanced by zesty acidity.
