Lagaria Pinot Grigio

00% Pinot Grigio from SW-facing vineyards of the Lagarina Valley, south of Trento and northeast of Lake Garda. The valley’s privileged position as the hub of warm air currents from the lake and cold ones from the Dolomites, translates into significant fluctuation between day and night temperatures. This favors fragrance of aromas and intensity of bouquet. Terrain ranges from clayey to cool, calcareous/sandy; vines are 5-25 years old and training is Guyot/Casarsa, at an altitude of 656-1,640 feet above sea level. Crop yield is 3 kilos (6.6 pounds) per vine, picked in early September.
