SakéOne and Suisen Brewery created Kibo sake as a symbol of the resilience to begin anew. Appropriately named, in Japanese Kibo mean "hope." Susisen Brewery is in Iwate Prefecture, established in 1944. In 2011 a devastating Tsunami destroyed the original Suisen Brewery. Soon after the brewery was rebuilt, and this collaboration started then.
A medium-bodied sake with aromatic and floral honey notes balanced with hints of almond and a dry finish.
Enjoyed chilled, room temperature or warm.
