JP Azeitão Red

From the Palmela region of Portugal's Setubal Peninsula, this is a popular and well-made blend of 40 % syrah, and 60% local red varieties. Flavours of cherry, strawberry and blackberry are supported by a supple tannic structure. Excellent value and an ideal partner for grilled chicken, pork with clams or cured meats. Fruity aroma, dominated by nuances of fruits of the forest and strawberry conserve. In the mouth, we find flavours identical to the aromas, integrated with a smooth tannic structure.
