10th generation winegrower Markus Huber manages this 200+ year-old family operation, and it is under his expert leadership that Huber Hugo has gained international recognition as the star of Austria's Traisental region. His "Hugo" family of wines represent excellent values for everyday drinking. Made from a blend of Zweigelt and Pinot Noir from small single vineyards in the Traisental, this delicate and fresh sparkling rose offers juicy berry fruit and spice aromas and flavors with hints of mineral and citrus. It is dry (12g/l), with lively acidity and a creamy mousse. Crisp, fruit-driven yet creamy on the palate, this is a delicious sparkler to have on hand for easy entertaining. Serve chilled chilled and pair with white meats or grilled fish.
