Tzeriat vineyard is situated 800 metres a.s.l. in an amphitheatre sheltered from cold currents, which was mentioned, as early as 1839, by ampleographer Gatta L. F. as one of the best areas in the territory of the Municipality of Quart; using a French expression we can classify it as a "CRU". Perfectly ripe grapes, vinified in wooden tubs with only the natural yeasts already present on the destemmed grapes performing punching-down operations three times a day for 10-12 days minimum. It is garnet red colour, intense, austere and has a complex bouquet featuring strong notes of wild berries, very balanced taste, persistent, with good tannicity and spicy notes that develop with bottle ageing. Excellent with game or mature cheese.
