Gilgal Brut is made from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir grown in the cool climate of the Golan Heights. Produced in the classic Champagne method, it is aged for a minimum of one year in the bottle on the tirage yeast. This non-vintage sparkling wine shows off bright lemon notes nuanced with characters of crisp green apples and pears, fresh flowers, and hints of wild strawberries. Its refreshing tartness makes the wine immensely drinkable. Gilgal Brut is best enjoyed within a couple years of its release. The wine’s bright acidity makes it a great start to a meal. Gilgal Brut goes wonderfully with rich or salty foods, such as liver pâté or canapés of smoked salmon topped with salmon caviar. Kosher for Passover Non-Mevushal
