Perennially suave and sumptuous, our Limited Selection Merlot, crafted entirely from grapes we grow on our Home Ranch in eastern Santa Ynez Valley, offers wonderfully dense, fragrant and complex aromas of ripe black cherry, dark plum and boysenberry fruit complemented by seductive mocha, vanilla, black tea and earth scents. Big, rich and concentrated on the palate, with supple, well-integrated tannins, the wine’s mouthfilling black cherry, dark berry, black plum and blackcurrant flavors segue into a long, savory finish featuring rich chocolate and zesty spice tones. Delicious now with grilled red meats and sausages, cherry-glazed roast duck or pork tenderloin, and hearty, tomato-based pastas, this luxurious Merlot will profit from another 3-5 years of bottle age.
