The region benefits from marine breezes coming off the nearby San Pablo Bay, as well as a long and cool growing season due to its location in the valley. This extended ripening period gives The Pact its signature silkiness, unmistakable blue and black fruit and pronounced acidity. Carefully selected from the premier blocks of the property that sit on an elevated bench with volcanic soils underneath, this Cabernet Sauvignon captures what makes the Coombsville AVA special. Black cherry and black currant generously welcome the nose and reward the palate with a plush texture and fresh acidity. Dark fruit and graphite, along with tobacco, cinnamon, star anise and dark cocoa flavors await you with a seductive finish that lasts for an eternity.
