Fall Creek Vineyards has been working with Chenin Blanc from Escondido Valley for over 30 years. The vines from which we source these grapes are some of the oldest vines in Texas and this is evident in the complexity of our Chenin Blanc wines.
The 2018 Chenin Blanc reveals the serious side of the variety with a surprisingly aromatic nose suggesting smoky lemon, bitter almond and fresh quince. The palate is medium in weight with a green apple and D'Anjou pear character finishing with notes of lime zest and wet stone.
