Duck Pond Pinot Gris

A brilliant wine in the glass with slight copper hues and platinum highlights. Aromas are focused with flavors of ripe green melon, tangerine, white peach, and guava. Secondary tones of wet stone, dust, and sea spray provide exciting depth to the nose. Additionally, a touch of salty mineral accents the lush fruit notes and gives the wine a sense of coastal influence. The wine is slightly reductive on the nose with flint and dust, but in a very pretty and charming way. A very pleasant, fruit forward style to the palate featuring mineral tones, cantaloupe, and ripe pear. Moderate weight and texture in the mouth leaving a refreshing finish of melon-influenced acidity, citrus rind, and honey.
