Double Canyon Vineyard Petit Verdot

With the goal of creating authentic estate-grown wines, Double Canyon was established in the heart of Horse Heaven Hills in 2007. Our focus is crafting wines that expresses the individuality of our namesake vineyard and captures the distinct character of Washington State’s best appellations. This wine comes entirely from our estate Double Canyon Vineyard and is crafted to showcase the best characteristics of our land. The property is planted primarily to Cabernet Sauvignon, but Double Canyon Vineyard also features two blocks of Petit Verdot, which total just over four acres. Dark, inky and unctuous, our Petit Verdot exudes a pronounced brambly character and notes of cassis, black cherries, earthy seasoned wood and fragrant baking spices. The palate has flesh and weight with bold, persistent flavors.
