La Cavale reflects its owner Paul Dubrule‘s wish to create an exceptional wine center in the heart of the Natural Regional Park of the Luberon. Designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and built stone by stone by Les Compagnons du Devoir (a traditional French fraternity of craftsmen), La Cavale makes “sharing“ its priority. Here novices and experts can taste our wines while discovering others. It is a unique, cultural place where both wine and refinement arouse the senses before a magnificent landscape.
Built in a very contemporary style, La Cavale rises at the crossroad between the villages of Vaugines, Lourmarin, and Cucuron. Our estate spreads over 42 hectares and is planted with eight varietals offering three different types – red, white and rosé – vinified under the guidance of Jean-Paul Aubert, our technical manager, and Alain Graillot, our consultant.
Our selection includes three labels: Petite Cavale (rosé, red, and white), La Cavale (white and red) and our flagship, Grande Cavale (red), which is produced solely in great vintages.
