Vines that range in age from 35 to 40 years in clay soil on a southwestern facing slope produce this wine. A sharp nose with a heavy mineral accent. There is a richness and vivacity to this wine that leads into a long finish with strong acidity and nuances of tropical fruit and sage. A wine that can easily be enjoyed on its own, but also would be a great match for soft cheeses, oysters, and monkfish.
