Sunny, southeast France is known for its increasingly popular salmon-tinted rose wines. Domaine Fontval combined Grenache and Mourvedre for their 2017 Mediterranee bottling, resulting in a wine with an expressive, fruity charm. This stylish blend reveals an underlying minerality that mingles elegantly with an alluring bouquet of white peach, wild strawberry, tangerine zest, and a subtle rose petal note. Its soft texture and refreshing acidity makes this an ideal companion to tabouli salad with fresh herbs, watermelon and feta salad, or french fries dipped in garlicky aioli. Beautiful, brilliant pale pink colour. A pleasant nose, offering aromas of red berries with subtle notes of raspberries.
