2013 will be remembered as a year that rewarded experience and patience. A relatively normal growing season moved into a long period of warm, dry weather before harvest. Picking began under clear skies, which moved through a brief period of intense storms, and then returned to calm, dry conditions. As always, the strength of our vineyards gave us the ability to wait for optimal picking conditions. Throughout elevage, the wines developed complexity and a distinctive, cool climate personality, allowing us to blend this refined and delicious cuvée.
