Tright Grenache red colour. There is a primrose flower tenderness in the nose’s red plum fruit aroma – this is a skilful, restrained starts, shows the balance of the vintage, is broad and very noticeable. The palate is notable for smooth bur secure tannins lending support to its well-oiled red fruits. The result is harmony in what is a Big Wine. Late on a Mourvèdre thrust comes through, carrying extra power and charge in its tannin. Accomplished Plan de Dieu. The aftertaste is a little yeasty. Obviously southern wine, but well made.
