The Domaine de la Perruche is located along the Loire River in the village of Montsoreau, made famous by its 15th century historical castle. Montsoreau falls within the region of Saumur Champigny in the Loire Valley. The vineyards of Domaine de la Perruche extend over 45 ha on a base of chalky tuffeau, which is the ideal geological location for the production of fine white Saumur and red Saumur Champigny.
