A rich, smooth, and dry Cabernet Sauvignon, estate grown and bottled at Del Rio Vineyards in the Rogue Valley AVA. Small production: less than 1,000 cases, aged 15 months in French Oak, 30% new oak. Rated 90 points 4 times by Wine Spectator and one of the "Year's Best U.S. Cabernets" by Wine & Spirits (91 points, Best Buy).
Although Oregon is best known for its Pinots, Southern Oregon has a warm-immediate climate suitable for over 2 dozen grape varietals, including the Bordeaux family. This Cabernet will show more balance than many of its counterparts from Washington or California.
