Claret (Bordeaux Blend)

A classic Bordeaux style blend, our Del Rio Claret is an elegant composition of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Franc. Complex and rich, aged 15 months in French oak, 30% new. Fewer than 600 cases made annually, this is Del Rio's flagship red wine. Although Oregon is known for its Pinots, Southern Oregon has a warm-intermediate climate suitable for over 2 dozen grape varieties, including the Bordeaux and Rhone families. This Claret is an homage to the great Bordeaux reds.
