Arnaud Delaire and Nicolas Baptiste, bought the Chteau Branda in 1998 and since that date have always been growing the best wines of the appellations (Puisseguin and Lussac Saint Emilion). In 2001, their passion pushed them to invest in the prestigious neighborhood: Chteau Pas de lAne and Chteau Haut Saint Brice. Two Saint Emilion Grand Cru were born to offer the ultimate pleasure of the right bank area. Chateau Pas de l'Ane, neighbor of Chateau Figeac and a stone throw away from Chateau Cheval Blanc is a hidden tremendous value worth discovering. This wine is produced on a clayish soil with limestone. This average age of the vine grapes are 30 years old with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc. The harvest is hand made in crate selecting on vine of maximum maturity. All the grape-gathering is sorted on table. The alcoholic fermentation is made in stainless steel vats with thermoregulation and wooden tank. Malolactic fermentation in new oak barrels. Age during 12 month in oak barrel.
