A favorite Madeira of mine, that reveals a stunning background of nuances ranging from warm pecan pie, to baked sultana and iotas of Turkish delight. The aroma is equally stunning, giving emphasis to notes of marzipan and wild amber honey. Allotments of poached pear were equally riveting, but I could easily end each meal with this aperitif, as it is rich, but sustainably well-balanced enough for any occasion
