Pinot Noir fruit from the flawless and ideal 2012 growing season made this a delightful Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Grapes were primarily harvested from the Sangiacomo Amaral Ranch Vineyard and were gently extracted during fermentation on native yeast. The wine was then aged for seven months in 30% new French oak before bottling. From the winery: "Bright ruby color, this wine offers intense floral and raspberry aromas. In the mouth the wine has a good intensity with darker earth flavors and bright raspberry fruit. Fine tannins add structure and balance to a long finish."
