Story Vacqueyras is a little spot in France's southern Rhone valley adjacent to vineyards that bear the Pope's name. Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre are harvested to make a blend that is rich, robust, and luxuriously textured. Think of it as a super-sized Cotes du Rhone. Taste Inky black in color with intense aromas of blackberry and cherry and plum, along with cracked black pepper, anise, and sweet spice. The wine's flavor is densely packed and long lasting.
