The Ambriel Blanc de Blancs 2010 is a refined English Sparkling Wine, crafted from our best Chardonnay in the Traditional Method. It has been nurtured in the bottle for over 8 years and relaxed on the cork for 6 months before release. It tempts with caramelised apple and a toasty nuttiness on the palate, rising on an elegant effervescence. Simply delicious.

A lovely golden straw colour and exceptionally fine bubbles. The nose is full with hints of red fruits. The pinot dominance brings depth and complexity to the palate with a long lasting finish, whilst the Chardonnay adds finesse and freshness. On early release the Cavendish is quite fruit focussed but will continue to develop more complex biscuit and bready characteristics over time.

This is a silky and delicate wine with wonderful depth of fruit and aromas of black fruits, black pepper, tangerine skin and even flint. Superbly refined tannins deliver a sexy texture plus a bright and minerally finish. Multiple 93+ ratings.

Fresh raspberry and cherry aromas are basic and clean, while the palate has a normal feel and bright but generic red-fruit flavors. A smidgen of sweetness and caramel appears on the finish, but overall this is average Cabernet without much character.
