Mezzacorona uses time honored, hand-harvesting and sophisticated vinification technology to maintain the integrity of each wine and its aromas. Estate production is the key to consistent, rich and elegant wines. The constant attention of 1,600 growers results in superior grapes that are harvested with the greatest of care. As guardians of the land, each grower ensures the well-being and longevity of the land and its ability to produce quality grapes for years to come. Our Pinot Grigio is cultivated in immaculate vineyards along the Adige valley surrounded by the magnificent Italian Alps. Cultivated using the traditional pergola style, the grapes are entirely hand harvested at optimum ripeness to produce a perfectly balanced crisp and fresh Pinot Grigio. A delightful Pinot Grigio to be enjoyed for its aromatic crisp green apple, mineral and honeysuckle notes. It is the perfect complement to appetizers, soups, pasta, white meats, and fish. Enjoy!

A creamy white foam with persistent tiny bubbles. Bright rose color with ruby red reflections. Delicate aromas of red berries and cotton candy. Lusciously sweet with a primary red fruit flavors yet refreshing with a lingering finish. With this pretty-in-pink wine, dessert can be as easy as popping a cork. Highly versatile. A great aperitif and equally splendid with richly flavored foods and desserts. Enjoy well chilled. A blend of Pinot Noir, Croatina and Teroldego. Each variety is harvested and vinified separately, allowing the grapes to reach perfect ripeness. Following de-stemming, the must is macerated with the skins allowing it to retain maximum fragrance. The must is kept at a low temperature until fermentation, at which point the two varieties are blended together. When the wine has reached an alcohol content of 8%, fermentation is interrupted by lowering temperature to approximately 32°F leaving a high level of natural residual sugar.

The Moscato grapes are harvested and vinified to reach perfect ripeness. Following de-stemming, the juice is kept on the skins for several days at low temperatures to extract the fruit’s aromas and retain maximum fragrance. Straw yellow in color with varied notes of candied citrus, ripe fruit and white flowers. Sweet, fresh taste with pleasantly fruity aftertaste. Ideal as a dessert wine, but it also pairs well with delicate cheeses, spicy foods or barbecue dishes.

The grapes are carefully selected and vinified using advanced technology. The grapes undergo extremely gentle pressing and the must is fermented in stainless steel vats at a temperature of around 20°C. Prior to bottling, the wine is left to develop in stainless steel tanks, never in wood, at fairly low temperatures to preserve its typically fruity character. Pale straw in color with slight golden reflections. Distinctly fruity nose accompanied by slight floral hints. Light and crisp on the palate. A wonderful aperitif and equally splendid with pasta in cream sauces, risotto, veal, chicken and fresh seafood dishes.

Maceration at low temperatures for 6 hours gives this wine an elegant bouquet and long persistence thanks to its intense minerality. Hints of banana, acacia, and whitethorn.

La-Vis Simboli Pinot Grigio has been cultivated in the Commune of Lavis, Trento for decades. Simboli Pinot Grigio forms part of a range produced by esteemed Trentino cooperative, Gruppo La-Vis, to represent the classic varieties and wine styles of the region. The vines are planted on the quite steep slopes of the valley at an altitude of 250-300 m.a.s.l. , with west to south-west exposure. The vines are trained in the traditional “pergoletta”, at an average density of 4000-4500 vines per hectare, and the average vine age is 15-20 years. The grapes are harvested during the second half of September. Following fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, the wines remain in tank for 5 to 10 months, and in bottle a further couple of months prior to release.

Our Chardonnay is cultivated on the highest hillside vines of Trentino. These vines benefit from optimum sunlight and cool refreshing night air which enhance the crispness of the fruits. Hand harvested to ensure optimum ripeness, only the best quality Chardonnay grapes are delivered to the winery. Our highly drinkable Chardonnay shows subtle flavors of peach, nectarine, pear and spice. With its fruity fragrances and graceful taste, our Chardonnay compliments appetizers, fish, white meats and Mediterranean salads. Enjoy!

This sparkling wine is fruit-forward with pleasant toasted notes on the nose with a crisp and balanced palate. It is excellent as an aperitif and pairs wells with seafood pasta dishes and salmon and lighter white fish. Altemasi Brut is made using the traditional Metodo Classico. Select grapes are hand-harvested and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel. With the close proximity of the vineyards to the winery, the grapes are quickly de-stemmed and whole berry crushed. Second fermentation occurs in the bottle and the wine is aged on the lees for at least 15 months prior to disgorgement. 90 Points, Planet Grape
