Wine in Tavel

Covering an area of 1.5ha, this site is bathed by the sun and swept by the mistral on a flat plain that rich in limestone with a clay subsoil. Entirely hand-harvested organic grapes that have a cold maceration before being pressed. Low temperature fermentation with indigenous yeasts, which allow the yeast to develop its fruit flavors. Aged in stainless steel tank. Given the name "beautiful star" by the Manissy Brotherhood's missionary preist, the grapes originate from organically certified vineyards owned by wine-maker Florian André's mother.

Château de Trinquevedel rosé is characterized by aromas of ripe, red berries and classic notes of sweetly spicy garrigue. It is a blend of 45% Grenache, 24% Cinsault, 15% Clairette, 10% Mourvèdre, 6% Syrah. After harvest the skins undergo a cold soak for 12-48 hours in cement cuve and are then directly pressed. Alcoholic fermentation lasts 20 days in cement cuve and the wine rests for 6-9 months in enamel stainless steel cuves.

Domaine Chantepierre Tavel Rosé

Pale red. Red berry and cherry aromas are strongly accented by smoky herbs, anise and lavender. Round and juicy, offering intense bitter cherry and raspberry flavors and a late note of peppery spices. In a rich, classic Tavel style but quite lively, finishing with impressive power and lingering spiciness.
