The color is a rich scarlet-red, with opulent aromas of blackberry, black cherry, cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of caramel. The palate comes alive with flavors of ripe raspberries, strawberry jam, a dense blackberry core, warm gingerbread, and a hint of toffee. It is perfectly balanced with refreshing acidity, plush weight on the mid-palate and a wonderfully supple texture. The expansive fruit flavors carry through to a long, pure and persistent finish. When asked to describe this wine, I simply say it’s like a taste of Christmas, all year long.

Pretty aromas of lemongrass, grapefruit and honeysuckle lead to lush flavors of ripe pear, apple and hints of tangerine. Clean and crisp with traces of minerality on the palate, this wine has mouthwatering acidity and a light, tart finish making it especially food-friendly. SeaGlass Pinot Grigio is a natural with all kinds of seafood and lightly spicy Asian fare.

Katherine’s Vineyard Chardonnay is an ocean influenced, single vineyard expression of “refrigerated sunshine” in a glass – layered, elegant, distinct. Fresh granny smith apples, floral and spice aromas dominate the nose; pink grapefruit, tangerine, citrus blossom, and apple pie flavors are balanced by a bit of wet stone. The oak influence creates a nice mid-palate, yet the wine still shows a balanced acidity that carries through the long finish. Chardonnay is one of the most celebrated white wines in Santa Barbara County, California. All grapes from the Estate Vineyards are certified under the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance and Sustainability in Practice.

Our classic blend of stainless-steel fermented Sauvignon Blanc (92%) and barrel-fermented Sémillon (8%) is bright and sassy. A yin-yang bouquet of citrusy and tropical aromas of grapefruit pith, honeydew melon and rocky earth lead to a palate that is vivid and vivacious.

Aromas and flavors of strawberries and raspberries are joined by anise and clove notes with mouth filling intensity.

Dark dark garnet color. Aromas and flavors of tapioca, cherry cobbler, and honey gelato with a silky, bright, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a smooth, stimulating, medium-length finish that shows suggestions of praline, buttercream, earth, and nutshell with fine, dusty tannins and light oak flavor. A rock solid pinot.

Tangley Oaks Chardonnay is a lovely light gold. Made with 100% Chardonnay, this wine has fresh tropical and vanilla aromas. The taste is full-bodied with pear, nutmeg and vanilla flavors.

This dense white wine exhibits aromas of Meyer lemon and tangerine, balanced by flavors of citrus, Key lime and sea salt. Only neutral barrels are employed. Whole cluster pressed chardonnay. We don’t promote or prohibit malolactic fermentation, allowing the wine to be in balance, bright and elegant.

Our Tepusquet Vineyard Syrah has a deep purple color with concentrated flavors of raspberry and blackberry as well as aromas of cured meat and mocha. The wine is medium bodied with balanced tannins that contribute to a round smooth texture. Nice acidity is followed by a long finish with nuances of dark berry fruit. This wine is a classic cool climate Syrah with a balanced acidity and true varietal characters.

The first release of the Peake Ranch John Sebastiano Vineyard Pinot Noir represents an extraordinary achievement in Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir. The steep, windy vineyard location produces tiny clusters and tiny grapes, yielding extraordinarily concentrated wines. There’s a substantial amount of weight and complexity to this wine. Dark fruit and spice on the palate combines with a long, structured finish to truly create a magnificent Pinot Noir.

Our “Volpino” (meaning little fox) has become a staple in our line up of wines at our 7200 “shack”. Faith Vineyard located in a small oak-studded valley below Figueroa Mountain--grows great Sangiovese year after year. We blend in some Merlot (from Vogelzang Vineyard in Happy Canyon) to round out the mouthfeel and soften the Sangiovese’s tannins. This wine is bottled after 22 months in French oak barrels. This wine is always one of our most popular foxen 7200 wines.

The Brick Hill Chardonnay contains vibrant flavors of white peaches, lush pineapple and stone fruits that are held together with a touch of honeysuckle and a kiss of toasty oak. Enjoy with a variety of cream cheeses, hearty salads and a nice piece of seared Halibut.
